What families and educators ask us most often, answered honestly.
The answers below cover the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, get in touch. Every message is read and answered personally.
Kinship is a curated network of experienced educators with UK and International experience, currently working at top private schools across the UAE. We support learners across KS1 (5 to 7 years), KS2 (7 to 11 years), KS3 (11 to 14 years), and KS4 / GCSE (14 to 16 years).
We do not list profiles for browsing. We make introductions. Every educator on our Roster has been personally interviewed, vetted, and approved by our team.
A kinship is the small circle of people you belong to, and who belong to you. The few you trust without being asked to. We borrowed the word because it describes exactly what we do: bring trusted people into your family's life.
At launch, Kinship offers Kinship Education only. In time, three more will follow: Kinship Care (babysitters, nannies, au pairs, pet sitters), Kinship Active (personal trainers, sports coaches, swim instructors), and Kinship Household (drivers, household managers, estate staff, house sitters). Each will be introduced when the families we serve ask us to.
Kinship is a UAE-based business serving families across all seven emirates. Our educators work in-person across the UAE and online with families anywhere in the country.
Every educator in the Kinship circle is an experienced teacher currently working at a top private school in the UAE. They hold UK or International teaching qualifications, have years of classroom experience, and have been personally interviewed and approved by our team. The ones we keep are the ones we would welcome into our own homes.
It begins with a conversation. You tell us about your child through our enquiry form: the academic need, the curriculum, the schedule, and your family. We then choose one educator from our Roster who fits all of these. Not a list. The right one. The match is the product.
We will be in touch within two working days of your enquiry to begin the conversation. From there, an introduction usually follows within a week, depending on availability and how specific the need is. If your child needs to start sooner, tell us, and we will do our best to honour that.
British, International Baccalaureate (IB), American, MOE (UAE Ministry of Education), and CBSE. If your child follows a different curriculum, get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Both. You can specify your preference in the enquiry form and we will match accordingly. In-person sessions take place at your home or another agreed location. Online sessions use the educator's preferred platform.
Pricing varies by curriculum, year group, subject, and whether the session is in-person or online. We do not publish rates because every family's needs are different and the right conversation happens once we understand what you are looking for. Tell us your budget in the enquiry form and we will be honest with you about what is possible.
It is rare, because we take the matching seriously. If it does happen, tell us. We will listen, understand what was not working, and propose someone else. We stand behind every introduction we make.
Every detail you share with us is held in confidence and shared only with the educator we propose. We do not sell, trade, or publish your information. Treat the enquiry form as a conversation with a trusted advisor.
If you have heard of an educator and want to know whether they are on our Roster, ask us. We will tell you. We cannot guarantee any particular match, but we will always try to honour a specific request when it is the right fit.
Experienced teachers with UK or International qualifications, currently or recently working at a private school in the UAE. We work primarily with educators who teach the British curriculum, IB, American, MOE, or CBSE systems. If you have substantial teaching experience and the right credentials, we want to hear from you.
A detailed application form, followed by an interview if we believe you are a fit. We read every submission carefully and respond to every applicant, whether or not we invite them forward. Most applicants are not invited forward. The ones who are, we treat as part of our circle.
You will hear from us within five working days. If we invite you to interview, the full process is typically two to three weeks from submission to your first introduction.
Yes. Most of our educators are full-time teachers at UAE schools who tutor in their evenings and weekends. Kinship complements your primary role; it does not replace it.
You tell us your target take-home rate per hour. We agree it together, taking into account your experience, the subjects you teach, and whether you tutor in-person or online. In-person rates are higher than online. We are transparent with you about how we structure our pricing.
Once introduced, you and the family agree the schedule directly. We handle the contract, the billing, and the payments. Educators are paid on a fixed cycle. The family pays a single all-inclusive rate to Kinship. You never need to discuss money with the families you teach.
Professionalism, discretion, and the standard of teaching you would deliver in your own classroom. Sessions are usually weekly. We expect punctuality, consistent quality, and the same care you would give a student of your own.
