Introduction

Kinship ("we", "us", "our") is a UAE-based education introductions service. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have kept it deliberately plain, in the same spirit as everything else we do.

By submitting an enquiry or application to Kinship, you agree to your information being handled as described here.

Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. Depending on how you engage with Kinship, this may include:

• Family enquiry details — the parent's name, email address, mobile or WhatsApp number, emirate and area of residence, and details about your child such as age, year group, school, curriculum, subjects, goals, any diagnosed learning needs you choose to share, preferred schedule, indicative budget, and how you heard about us.
• Educator application details — your name, contact details, nationality and UAE visa status, qualifications and teaching experience, current school, the year groups and subjects you teach, languages, availability, expected rate, professional references, and your bio.
• Correspondence — any messages you send us by email or through our forms.
• Basic technical information — standard details your browser shares when you visit the site, such as approximate location and device type.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

• Understand your family's needs and make a single, considered introduction to the educator we believe is right.
• Review educator applications and, where appropriate, invite applicants to interview and add them to our Roster.
• Arrange and administer tuition, including scheduling, contracts, billing, and payments.
• Respond to your questions and keep in touch with you about your enquiry or application.

How we share your information

Kinship is built on discretion. We share the details of a family enquiry only with the individual educator we propose to you, and only so that a suitable introduction can be made. We share an educator's details with a family only once an introduction is agreed.

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run Kinship — for example, the tools we use to receive and store form submissions — and only to the extent they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

We never sell, trade, or publish your personal information.

How we store and protect your information

Form submissions are transmitted securely and stored in access-controlled systems (currently Google Workspace) available only to the Kinship team. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we treat every detail you share as confidential.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and application information for as long as we need it to provide our service and maintain our Roster, and thereafter only for as long as we have a legitimate reason to. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us and we will do so, unless we are required by law to keep it.

Your choices and rights

At any time, you can:

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our typeface is served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering it.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate, including Google Workspace (to receive and store form submissions) and Google Fonts (to display our typeface). These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

Children's privacy

Our services concern the education of children, but our forms are intended to be completed by parents, guardians, and adult educators. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Where a family enquiry includes details about a child, we treat that information with particular care and share it only with the educator we propose.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown below. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
